The campaign will focus on the <strong>StopSpillet<\/strong>\ninitiative designed to help gambling addicts find help and stop indulging in\ndestructive gaming habits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative was originally\nlaunched in January 2019, and StopSpillet has received nearly 700 calls from\nindividuals who are struggling with managing their gaming habits. As per the\nnew advertisement, named <strong>\u2018Pokerfj\u00e6s,\u2019<\/strong> viewers will follow the lives of\nthree people, a mother, a father, and a footballer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the 30-segment video unfolds,\nthere will be a voiceover with close relatives and family friends of the\ncharacters of the video, sharing their thoughts about the individuals\u2019 gambling\nissues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator is determined to\nshow how gambling addiction can be overcome with the help of StopSpillet. The\ntagline of the campaign is \u2018If you can&#8217;t say it out loud you can tell us,\u2019\ninviting trust and presenting StopSpillet as a confidential service where\neveryone can receive help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Individuals affected by gambling\naddiction will also be able to chat with experts, instead of calling directly,\nif they feel more comfortable with this form of interaction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>H2 Nordic\nCountries Are Exemplary Gaming Markets <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denmark has been one of the\nexemplary countries in Europe, upholding some of the strictest gaming\nregulations, with a specific focus on gambling addiction. The country has taken\nmultiple measures to ensure that consumers are protected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The national lottery introduced an\nID card as a form of verification to ensure that underage individuals are not\ninvolved with any gambling products. Meanwhile, the market has kept growing\nover the months in 2019, generating $237.8 million in Q3 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Admittedly, this was a slightly\nsubdued result comparing, but it still showed the strength of a\nhighly-regulated market, which has nevertheless been able to secure expansion\nand growth. Denmark also accepts partnerships with betting companies and sport\nteams, with the regulator being able to oversee such campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sweden also legalized its industry\non January 1 2019 and the country has been doing well so far. Even though the <strong>Spelinspektionen<\/strong>,\nSweden\u2019s regulator, has issued multiple warnings to operators in the country,\nthe gaming market has been developing well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar to Denmark, Sweden is one\nof the more heavily regulated markets in Europe, with the emphasis being on\nprotecting consumers. Unlike other places, including the United Kingdom,\nSpelinspektionen doesn\u2019t allow any promotional materials past the sign-up\nbonus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Europe is caught between an\nexpanding gaming market as well as sterner and sometimes purposefully\nrestrictive regulations.
