In a rapid expansion across state lines, Caesars Digital has just launched Horseshoe Online Casino in West Virginia, mere days after its debut in Pennsylvania. This marks the third Caesars brand available in the Mountain State, joining Caesars and Caesars Palace Online Casino. It is also the third state where Horseshoe Online Casino has gone live, following its Michigan launch last month. For West Virginia, this brings the state’s total online casino options to ten, broadening choices for both new and seasoned players alike.
The Horseshoe brand, known for its classic appeal, combines its rich casino heritage with a focus on progressive jackpots, high-limit slots, and exclusive table games. In a statement following the Pennsylvania launch, Caesars highlighted that Horseshoe was crafted for the “savvy gambling customer,” offering a range of high-stakes options and unique gameplay features. Matt Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital, described the online version as a natural continuation of Horseshoe’s legacy, created to “put the player first.” Sunderland noted that Horseshoe Online Casino is designed to be a casino-first experience, setting it apart from its sports-first Caesars app.
The launch of Horseshoe Online Casino forms part of Caesars’ strategic plan to diversify its digital presence with multiple brands, tailored to offer distinct experiences under the Caesars umbrella. This approach was further solidified by the successful launch of the Caesars Palace Online Casino, another casino-first brand that has already seen strong engagement. Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, noted that while Horseshoe will resonate with a large customer base, Caesars Online Casino will likely continue to lead due to its established presence. “Horseshoe is a great brand… but Caesars is even better and will remain our flagship app,” Hession stated, underscoring the company’s multi-tier approach.
Looking ahead, Caesars Digital is gearing up to launch the Horseshoe Online Casino brand in both New Jersey and Ontario next month, marking a major step into these high-profile markets. This continued rollout reflects Caesars’ commitment to expanding access to its diverse brand portfolio and delivering its gaming experiences to a broader audience. For casino fans, this strategy offers a growing selection of options, each bringing a unique brand flavor, while all maintain the high standards expected from Caesars.
