New and Enhanced Gaming Innovations Coming to Mississippi Lottery as IGT Extends Contract

The Mississippi Lottery Corporation and International Game Technology PLC (IGT) have just announced a substantial contract extension, pushing the total duration of the collaboration to a further three years, until December 1, 2029. This extension guarantees that IGT Global Solutions Corporation, a subsidiary of IGT, will continue to provide immediate ticket services and online gaming systems.

In addition to the contract renewal, IGT has some big plans ahead for its portfolio which means gamers certainly have a lot to look forward to.

Players will have access to several convenient features when the Mississippi Lottery mobile app launches. These features include the ability to see winning numbers, validate tickets, access digital playslips, find retailers, get game information, and find resources for responsible gaming. Besides the current 300 GameTouch 28 self-service terminals, IGT will roll out additional machines to pique players’ interest even more and provide them with more options.

Building on the six laboratories previously sponsored since 2019, IGT intends to construct more digital technology labs in Mississippi as part of its After School Advantage program, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives. Furthermore, IGT will keep supporting students at the state’s historically black colleges and universities via its yearly scholarship gift.
