Red Rake Gaming has struck up a distribution deal with iGaming supplier Microgaming. As a result, the Spanish casino company will work with the popular developer to create new titles and integrate them as part of its own offer and vice versa. Microgaming’s success revolves around popular casino segments, such as bingo games and slots, as well as live casino.
By teaming up with the iGaming giant, Red Rake will have an opportunity to tap into the Microgaming platform and achieve better footprint and awareness. Meanwhile, Red Rake Gaming is already a well-established developer.
There are a number of excellent titles, such as Tiger and Dragon, The Asp of Cleopatra, and the absolute blockbuster Bonnie & Clyde. Microgaming is already a bit of an expert, tapping into other developers’ rich portfolios and creating a diverse experience for its players.
The latest partnership is part of Red Rake’s efforts to expand in new markets, and particularly in Ukraine, Greece and Portugal.
The company is already operating in these markets as well as the United Kingdom and Spain with the sole purpose of attract a bigger segment of players. To consolidate its right to operate across Europe, Red Rake has also secured an official license from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
According to Red Rake Managing Director Nick Barr the objective is to create a successful global business, allowing the company to scale up properly first. Barr is interested in opening doors into new markets and ensuring strategical growth. Here’s what Barr had to say:

Some of the new venues targeted by Red Rake include Italy and Romania as well as Sweden, which may be heavily regulated, but remains one of the prime markets out there.
James Buchanan, Microgaming Director for Global Operations, has also expressed his delight with adding Red Rake to the vast company fold. Buchanan particularly commended the diverse and innovative content available by Red Rake.
